You know what sux!?
When you sell a game console (or collection) for something you really want but miss it later. Like I sold everything but the Sega Saturn and Playstation 3 to get a new guitar now i miss my snes, nes, genesis, sega-cd, dreamcast, atari... it just sux, well at least i picked up a FC twin to hold me over until i get my paycheck and can afford the real deal (original un-oxidized snes and nes.) suprisingly i dont miss the genesis or atari too much, probably cause on the gene i played sonic (and have 3 different compilations on 3 diferent systems for them) and the atari well u can get those games pretty much anywhere for free. anyway whats ur story/comments?

Re: You know what sux!?
Dude, I learned that lesson a long time ago.
Get this. I've owned Four Sega Genesis in my life.
1: Me and my brother had at least, 50 to 60 games. We Sold it for a PSX.
2: Picked one up at Funcoland. Yes, Funcoland. (That place was awesome back in the day. Classic games galore.) Sold it WITH my N64, Dreamcast. To get a X-Box (which I don't regret) only thing I miss is the games. I had 40 genesis games.
3: Got it JUST when Funcoland turned into Gamestop, Which WAS cool at the time. They started putting up little covers on the wall for classic games. You had to ask the employees for the game. SOLD that one for..... shit dude. Crazy Taxi 2. WHAT A RIP. That's when Gamestop got gay as hell. They gave me $50 for a Genesis, two controllers, 30 games, and a Game Genie!
4: Got it On Amazon. Brand new, Never opened... until now. Came with Sonic Spinball. So yea, it was the Genesis 2 edition. Last one made by Sega. I still wish I had the First Gen. Those are kinda hard to find now.

Lol, Rare? It was made by Majesco. It's not even by Sega. They were sold at ToysRus until 2002. They're like... Majesco is weird. They're Third Party, but they re-leased things for Sega and Nintendo WITH the Sega and Nintendo labels on it. So.... they're like a 2 and 1/2 Party.tolstoydreamcastfan wrote:i have the rare model 3 genesis
